Hi Everyone, it’s Cicek using the human’s account because she never gets around to posting things.
Here are a lot of pics from a dollmeet we went to on Sunday. The Human took a lot of pics, try not to fall asleep
These are a doll the Human wanted before even I came to live here. She’s a Liebchen by Fancyboots.

She wasn’t strung but that’s ok.

The Human’s friend found one on DOA for her, but looksw like the seller hasn’t logged in since August so maybe she’s not up for adoption any more.

A Ceebee ![]()

Malak the Obsidious

Meesha, a Migma, I liked her dress, you’ll see that later ![]()

Stormy ![]()

Sparrow

Stormy again

A Zaoll Love

This Gentleman slept the WHOLE time, I was so surprised. He’d by Aul Doll? something like that. I didn’t speak with him so I’m not sure.

Nox, the Zinc

Porsche has been talking about getting to ‘ride the pony’ for days before the meet.

They got along really well as you’ll see.

You can sort of see Meesha’s dress here, but Jordan and river are sitting on it.

More Porsche and Nox.

Height comparison. Both standing on the table ![]()

The human thought they were pretty sweet.

Sparrow was playing with the hands and seemed to not like being caught.

more Nox and Porsche.

NEVER fall asleep at doll meets.

Love birds.

Thor seemed to find the centaur thing confusing.

And had to sit down for a while.

Porsche and Nox didn’t even notice.

Thor was so stunned the Human managed to get the Lamby Hat on him.

Krystal photobombing.

I think the Human took these for Meli.

Then the Human’s went to get lunch leaving us alone for a while and were surprised to find when they returned ..

Porsche and Nox had had a baby. (Bane was a little less than impressed to be the baby but played along.)

Vlad’s idea of a greeting.

A couple of pics the Human took for Meli.

Thor found himself a wench.

Ceebee scored a wig.

Jordan and Stormy became friends ![]()

And Sparrow found a great hidding place.

Awww

Porsche, taking Thor by surprise.

Then back with her ‘family’.

Vlad and I ![]()

Well I hope you liked the pics.
Thanks
Love Ciçek

She’s a lady alright.

Well turned out.

But she’s not sure on this photo business.

But she never was.

Even though she’s lovely,

and always was.

But she’s glad to be home.
things have been seriously sucking arse lately … not day to day worse necessarily but with added fun challenges that would take some of the sheen of an already happy day .. well sucks
But there’s been good stuff too.
My Gpa died about 7 years ago.
Ok yeah that’s not usually what you expect at the top of a good news story but it’s ok
So yeah Gpa was awesome, one of the sweetest most gentlemanly men that ever walked the earth. Helpful, kind, always with nice things to say.
His name was Ron Lister.
He was a tireless community work, as Gma was before she stopped being bothered getting out of bed. Red Cross, repair man at the local Oportunity Shop, Meals on Wheels, the local Historical Society and prolly a lot more than I can think of and bother to type.
So recently, with all the subdivision around here, one of the old nightman lanes became the entrance to peoples houses, and those people needed an address that didn’t mean they had to walk 1km+ round the block to get to their letter box.
So the local council contacted the Historical Society for suggestions. They had one, ‘Lister Lane’.
We all kept quiet a few months unsure what would happen and not wanting to look like idiots if it was rejected.
But then we got a letter.

Dave and I went and walked it last night. It’s one terrible little lane, all weedy and messy, with one house on it.
But look at that
it’s ours
So, the moral is, suck up to your local historical society, and have a name that makes a fun alliteration.
That and be a great person.
Ok so before we go onto the pics I need to warn everyone at the top that if things tend to creep you out you may prefer to close the window now rather than scroll down.
If you’re scared of:
Spiders
Scorpions
Babies
Dolls with their eyes closed
…
things that don’t quite look right … etc etc
You may want to close the window or um brace yourself.
Now I had sort of planned to do this with another pair of jointed hands and let Fiteach (chrom) have these, but well …
I really like the spikiness. It compliments the ‘spidery’ look these dolls were always going to have.
Ok I hope that’s enough padding to push the pics down a ways on your screen.
so without further ado, please meet:
Left and Right
The Babies of Doom.
They’re out on a little stroll, just hanging out in the yard.

I think they’re awesome but I totally get if you find them disturbing, creepy, odd, perverse etc.
On my last day in London, I wandered the streets fabric shopping etc and wandered into Hyde Park where I saw this:

Yes, bucketloads of Squirrels, just running up to the lady taking peanuts from her hand, then scampering off to feast.
And that was my holiday
On the last day with Sally we wint to visit a little villiage.
It was built in the 1950′s as an exact replica of the real villiage.
Here are some street scapes

Then on the way home when we swung past the garden centre I was excited to see their ’1:3 dollshouses’. They were rather amazing. Here’s my pics.

Then in the evening we walked around the Bog in the hopes of finding me some squirrels. We did spot 2, though the pics of them didn’t show up any squirrels lol.

Lots of lovely sunny open grassland

And dark foresty bits

And pretty streams

And Ponies. This one should be in a hair shampoo comercial.

And my favourite Pony, he came up really close.

Such a pretty pony.

I loved the colours.

And Mummy pony.

Awww

Sally and Sarah were telling methe New Forest is on the site of an old train line (least this bit is) and here are what’s left of one of the old rail properties.

With the limited memory card space and needing to drop the car off by 12 there wasn’t really the oportunity for bucket loads of pics.

At mid-day I left from Loughbourough, I took a pic in the gardens

Then after a long and lovely drive through the Cotswolds, where I didn’t take any pics, sorry, I reached the Rollright Stones.

This cluster in the other field is a memorial/tomb type thing, apparently there are a lot of bones underneath. People would add to it over the years.

Finally got back to the hotel after a long day, had a shower, came out and found this:

:O little brats stealing my birthday chocolates!!
Then we went to Stratford Upon Avon

Where I mostly took pics of buildings

And when I say mostly I mean only lol, love the crooked lines on this one

such a pretty little town.
I’ve been sick so not updating this like I should have. Sorry
Todays pics are of Eyam.
Eyam is a small town in the Peak District. In 1665 one of the inhabitants ordered some fabric out of London. It arrived wet so he laid it down infront of his fire to dry. By the end of the next week he was dead from the plague and 2 other town members were are deaths door also. People started to get scared so the towns relatively new minister got them all together, and with the help of the old minister, who had stayed in town, and other civic leaders managed to convince everyone the best thing to do was to close their boarders, none enter and none leave.
The minister negotiated with neighbouring towns and businesses to leave food and supplies at 2 points, one sounth of the town one north, a boulder and a spring. The townspeople would come there, take food, leave money and then go home. And people would bring them food etc and go back to their towns without seeing anyone.
They were closed for 2 years and in that time lost 250 people to the plague and their sacrifice meant the plague spread no further in their area.
Eyam Hall

Cross in the cemetary, it’s clearly missing a couple of pieces.
still lovely though.

Not sure what road this one was taken from.

Constructing new buildings in the old style.

It might not look like much, but this little spring was where neighbouring towns would drop supplies and collect money from the people of Eyam during the quarentine.

Reflextions on the river.
