I was buying some wigs on sale the other day and threw this one in for Jordan to try.

I was worried how it might look with her skin tone, but I think it goes ok. Particularly with lighter eyes.

This is what I’ve been working on the last 2 weeks. I received a commission from a good friend for the white gown Marilyn wears in Seven Year Itch

So I went hunting for pleated fabric. No Satin anywhere but I managed to get this chiffon. It works ok, but it’s not identical to the film dress. … still recognisable I think?

Not real happy with how the pics turned out, I’ll need to set up a photo space in the area that gets natural light, the fluorescent lights in here make the dolls look weird colours.

My newest girl arrived yesterday. She’s a ‘Fran’ (Final Fantasy) Minimee on a Super Gem body. Her outfit and faceup are by Becky Jay a good friend of mine. She bought the doll last year, actually she might have run the Fran GO, I’m not sure, and as is Becky’s way painted her faceup etc and dressed her and then moved her on. Luckily to my place

You’ve met Dhion, my MD Cuprit by Soom, but what you might not have realised is Dhion is her title not her name, she steadfastly refuses to entrust me with a name but she is the Dhion (guardian) of The Forest. Here we have the Dhion of Death and Dreams. Although she’ll answer to Dhion she prefers to be called Baithsuain (meaning ‘lure to sleep’) I know one other name she is known by Baithaog (‘lure to death’) but that name is never used in her presence. She finds it insulting as while she guides the dying to the underworld she never kills anyone.

So please meet Dhion Baithsuain.

So the toy sales are on … and I had a really bad week last week. So well this seemed like a good idea … and I gotta say it looks like a good idea too but well, do they need it?? Um prolly not.

I really struggled with this one which is so weird as really it’s such an easy pattern generally, it just goes together real weird. I’ve made a few of this one trying to get it right. I don’t know if I’d ever ‘nail’ this pattern so I’m settling for ‘good enough’.

Rhy was still a little miffed with me for making her model bikinis while it was raining so I bought her off by letting her have this necklace. LOL

(she still refused to stand though. The pics are craptastic as I’m holding her leg lol)

If you’ve been round a while you’ll know I’ve done one of these before.

It aparently died recently but I’d lost the pattern so I couldn’t make another. And it turned out my sister threw out the one I made, so I couldn’t use it as a pattern.

I’m quite worried about it. Mum made me a new pattern from the chair itself, but I thought it too thing and added 10cms to the width.

Now that it’s finished I went to hang it on the outdoor chair like I did the other. I remember the other was snug, but this one still wouldn’t go on.

Hopefully it will fit.
